We have been cordially invited and are planning to visit Australia in March of 2027. More news at a later date.
Maps and Vellum
We are getting close to fulfillment. This is our first time doing vellum, so we made some decisions that we now mildly regret. But first the map.
This map is included with the vellum orders. It just wasn’t printed at the time they went up.
We tried a smaller one, but it was just too small. The dimensions are 17 x 11 inches. It is printed on 80# Gloss Cover, so it is satiny and durable. Because of the larger size, the map will be scored and folded, so you can unfold it numerous times and it will not be damaged.
This map will be uploaded to our website, but if you would like a premium digital version, Becka will be working on it and you can order it directly from her. Links to come.
We will be emailing those of you who placed orders to finalize everything starting next week. We will also give you discounts, so if you are in US and are planning to buy UK vellum, do not order a separate pack if you already bought the US version. Wait until the email.
If you are in UK and want UK vellum, we have gotten a response from someone and we will let you know as soon as we shake on it.

Lastly, I am proud to say that I have shared my love of House Andrews with members of my knitting group and my (adult) daughters. Thought I guess a problem would also be that we have both UK and US versions. And our own language editions of course, but they are completly different sized, so I understand that that’s not likely to happen.

Seriously that is great news, and though I have never been there myself I have a lot of Australian remote friends and someday want to get there. My son and his chamber group did a competition in Melbourne and said it was one of the heat weeks they ever had ,said there were fantastic restaurants which is a high compliment coming from them ( their group is named after a French chef , tells you how much they love food,!)

The map is beautiful, but I notice that the map has an extra “r” in “Toren” (i.e. the map has “Torren” instead of “Toren”, like in the Kindle edition). I’m not sure whether that was intentional.
Yes, the map was titled when we still had two RR in Torren. We changed that in edits, so this is the special, one time, never again repeated typo edition. 😀

Very cool. I too am disabled and no longer buy hardcovers, due to space I mostly buy Ebooks and audio. That said when I moved I sold 1 bookcase of books but kept 1, including all Ilona Andrews books, Patrica Briggs books, Faith Hunter books and my Tamora Pierce collection.

My opinion only. What ever we want we are passive consumers. I respect that the authors may be done. I respectfully request BDH allow the authors to do as they please rather obeying BDH.
