    • Oh, and on my nightstand are a candle, a box shaped like a zebra head, and the contents of the top drawer because my water bottle leaked last night, and I need to dry everything out (multiple pairs of glasses, a notebook, and a bowie knife a friend made me).

And have re-read Kate’s books multiple times, I just discovered the Innkeeper series and waiting for books 2 and 3 to come in the mail. Jeaniene’s book sounds very fasinating.

    I am currently reading a long series, which has been a lot of fun: Supernatural Criminal Investigations & Witch Punk Files Boxed Set: Two Complete Series. Same characters in each set and both aimed at the same final event. It’s got everything! Vampires, Werewolves, Witches, Fae–you name it they’re in it. The overall concept is having supernaturals come out of the closet and live openly in the human world, and how’s that gonna work out?

  92. I’m reading ‘The Stardust Thief’ by Chelsea Abdullah.
    It’s a pleasant read about a magic-merchant who gets blackmailed into a quest for a relic by the sultan. She battles jinn who are out to get her and there are plenty of hints so far about her past and how she came to be.
    I’m about half way through and am enjoying it enough to finish but if it doesn’t get better I won’t read anymore of the series.
