An Arcane Hidden Legacy Giveaway

Blog, Hidden Legacy, Nevada Baylor POST A COMMENT November 28, 2025 by Moderator R

House Andrews have received their author copies of the Arcane Society Hidden Legacy Special Edition Box, which contains Nevada’s trilogy: Burn for Me, White Hot and Wildfire.

They are stunning hardcovers, with sprayed edges and dust jacket illustrations by the very talented @helena.illustrated. I have it on good authority that Kid 2, a book connoisseur, has immediately nabbed the set for her own enjoyment.

As per tradition, one of you also gets to walk away with the special edition box like a triumphant ferret at the end of a very shiny heist. And the best part (I think), House Andrews’ signature and personalised dedication are available upon winner request!

Giveaway Details

To enter, leave a comment below about something you’re thankful for. Doesn’t have to be a big thing, everyday appreciation is welcome.

This giveaway is open to US readers only. Unfortunately, previous packages we sent internationally were lost and the cost of international shipping is too high at the moment to incur those risks.

Only comments on the blog constitute valid entries.

If you are receiving this post in your email through the Ilona Andrews newsletter, click here to enter. To clarify for everyone who left comments about the link leading to the same page – yes, it is meant to do that. It is specifically for the people who are not reading the article on the website.

The winner will be chosen and announced next Friday, December 5th 2025 with the aid of a random number generator. We will email them at the address provided when they left the winning comment.

Please make sure to use an email you check! If we don’t hear back in a week, a new winner will be chosen. This has unfortunately happened at the most recent giveaway and I’d hate for you to lose out on the goodies.

I’m not entering, but I want to say I am very grateful that I get to hang out with the Horde (and our enthusiastic shenanigans) every day.

Good luck all!

I’m thankful for my formerly feral cats Ranger and Polly. It took 3 years of twice daily trips rain, shine, or snow, sickness or health, to the edge of my property where I had set up a feeding station and feral box before Ranger would let me touch him. Polly was a week old feral kitten with a damaged eye that my vets office asked me to foster (obviously I am a foster fail, they knew I would be). I’m handicapped with limited mobility and my favorite thing to do is read with my two wild babies snuggled up purring on my lap, just like they are now. I’m so thankful I was able to win their love, they’re a true blessing to an old formerly lonely woman. P.S. I now have a solid black male feral I’m feeding that I hope to add to the family someday. Cross your fingers for me.

I am very thankful for many things, but here I am going to be thankful for authors all over the world who share their story making talents. We all have talents that we can develop but story telling wasn’t in my cards. I recognized at a pretty young age that if I tried to write a story for a school assignment, it always paralleled books that I had been reading. It was at this time in my life that I decided to enjoy the story telling of others and develop my own talents elsewhere. I and so grateful for the many story tellers in our world that share their imaginations with the rest of us. May we all develop our talents as they come, but may we also embrace the talents of others and acknowledge that it is ok if we aren’t able to do the same things.

Backstory in 2020 my sister in law passed away. My brother had raised my nephew (her son) from a previous relationship since he was about 1. He was always my brother’s son and my nephew no step. When she passed he was 6 and her mom took custody, it was ugly, ( not in nephew’s best interest) done out of spite and hurt. This year finally she was able to move past her own hurt and anger and gave my brother full guardianship. She is still a part of his life as my brother would never keep her from him. I am so very grateful that my brother has this little boy whom we all have loved for so very long and has always been ours

I am thankful for wonderful authors that are so good that I can reread and relisten to each book and they continue to be as enthralling from the first time or the 6th time. Yes, I am directly that final comment to you.

I am thankful for growth, continued learning and understanding. Although I consider myself pretty successful my parents have labelled me a black sheep in certain circles due to not following their script of what they planned for my life. I was hurt for a long while but by curating a circle of friends and found family, my parents rhetoric doesn’t hurt me anymore. My found family also includes my amazing partner, with whom together we have formed strong but unusual (to most but not all) life partnership.

Each of us chooses to be part of my family. I am in constant awe of what we’ve created together. Your stories – every one of them so far – pays tribute to families like mine. Better late than never?😊

This year, as I look around and see so many poor souls suffering and barely able to make ends meet, and/or not able to be with their loved ones, I am especially thankful for everything I’ve been taking for granted: food, clothing, a roof over my head, and especially being able to hug my husband and daughter.

I’m also very thankful for everyone that I see pitching in and helping those who are hurting right now. When I recently went to donate at local food drives, it gave me great hope to see so many people of all colors and ages helping out. I want to believe that most people are good, and that maybe this will make a difference? I sure hope so…

Thankful for my sister telling me to live in Alaska for my next duty station. So much snow, darkness and cold that you think twice before you go outside but it is beautiful and a wonderful adventure.

I’m thankful for the 4th child we will be meeting in January, after 2 years of trying and miscarriages. It’s made the holidays so exciting for the kids, because it’s become more real to them the farther I’ve gotten in my pregnancy. They’ve even picked out Christmas presents to wrap and open “for the baby”, even though he won’t be here until a month later. Sweet babies.

I am thankful to be able to actually enjoy being in my house. It has been one very expensive thing after another, but I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel! I finally feel I can breath again and appreciate all that I have accomplished with it. Now I can sit back and relax… for a little while anyway!

I am thankful to have woken up this morning and having been given the gift of one more day. Yes, I know anyone reading this was given the same gift, but I’m thankful all the same. I might not get this gift tomorrow, so I’m going to make today count.

I’m going to tell my family I love and am so proud of them. I’m going to make listening a priority. Kindness my watchword. Community my kin. I’m going to take care of myself because when I go to bed tonight I know I will not have changed the world, but I will have tried to show how thankful I have been for the gift of one more day.

Of course I’m thankful for all the good things in life like having a job, a nice home, a car that work, family, etc., but right now I’m extra thankful that Aldi has my favorite chocolate creations which is like a truffle coated in cocoa powder and the delight my taste buds have as it melts in my mouth is amazing.

I’m thankful for the books that have and continue to keep me sane, offering an escape from a dark world. We may horde our books and read through then like lightening but that’s because they are our teddy bears, bringing us comfort.
