    My name would be Monique. But It would be pronounced. manique- just the way the chic French woman corrected me when I told her my name was Moe nique which was what my mother always called me. It sounded so much better when she said it. I met her when shopping for fabric while trying to keep my children from knocking over the displays as they were playing hide and seek

    My name would be bai xiang wu xian, which from Chinese translates to White Oak Wuxian (immortal warrior of the white oak). It does happen to be the Chinese version of the translation of my full name from a mash-up of French Gaelic. I play Taijiquan and Chinese brush painting, and try to follow the Dao. Frankly, I think House Andrews would have a blast creating a series in that culture. With Chinese dragons and QiLin.

    My real life name is Yoruba and I love the meanings behind them. My pronunciations might be off a bit it’s hard to replicate some sounds – like soft j’s and soft t’s and I’m not a native speaker.
